The Scenery covers only a small part of the republic of Kiribati, the Tarawa atoll. But this part is maybe the most important one, as the International airport, the capital and the biggest villages can be foun there. The first Version of the Kiribati Scenery was published in 1996 by Hanspeter Strub only. Now, together with new ground Textures by Michael Grueterich and hundreds of new objetcs made by me, this is the completely revised Kiribati 98 Scenery. Kiribati 98 is full of white sandy beaches, turqoise water and green palms. This is a full-detailed Scenery, 3D objects like fishing-ships, small boats, huts, houses, cars, palm forests and lonely palms as well as some special objects (search them!!) are included. Every 3D Object was redone and only the Ground Bitmaps (with Micheal Grueterichs new Textures of course) are on the same place. The Scenery has 2 airfields, the only International one of Kiribati, Bonriki International Airport and the small airfield of Buariki.

The Bonriki International airport is served by Air Nauru (from Sydney/Nauru and Manila/Guam/Nauru) with B737-300 and by Air Marshall (Fiji/Tuvalu) with DO228 or Saab2000.

The Scenery uses the new 512KB Scenery buffer of FS98 with installed FSConverter extensively, it can be used with earlier versions (even with FS5.1, I think) but you'll have some restrictions, in very dense areas some objects will disappear for example. This is the same case if you have FS98 but FSConverter isn't installed.
