Tour Details: Molly and your transportation will take you to Betio. Take pictures of the Vickers 8" guns brought to Tarawa from Japan. These were originally used with the Japanese/Russian war of 1905. |

You will visit the American & Japanese war memorials and the Cenotaph erected as a memorial to the coastal watchers and the Shinto shrine erected by the Japanese in memory of its war dead. |
